Humboldt Fishin' Lumberjacks Charter 2004

General Information
What: This event is the Third Annual Humboldt Fishin' Lumberjacks summer fishing trip, whoohoo!

We've had two fantastic trips so far -

This year, the trip will be a full four day pelagic fish sampling survey out of San Diego. We are limiting the load to 28 anglers.

Who: The trip is for Humboldt State University alumni, faculty and staff, in particular those who were or are part of the Fisheries Department

Note: When enrollment is opened, the the first slots will go to those who were on the previous charters. If you weren't one of the lucky ones who were with us in 2002 or 2003, be sure to contact the chartermaster (refer to the Contacts page) to get your name on the waiting list.

Boat: The Shogun

She's a stable, 92 x 30' fantastic fishing platform with air conditioned staterooms for everyone, five heads, three real hot showers, huge bait tanks, refrigerated fish storage and (new for 2004!) a refrigerated sea water (RSW) system to keep your fish in perfect sashimi condition.

Cost: $1,200.00 - this includes all meals, Mexican permits, cost of the prefishing bbq, your cool custom t-shirt and more. Crew tips, galley beverages, gambling losses and possible fuel surcharge are not included.
